UK NARIC Core Service Monitoring Group

The work of the UK NARIC Core Service Monitoring Group focuses on the following aspects:

  • Monitoring the quality and delivery of the NARIC Core Services according to the conditions laid down in the NARIC contract
  • Advising on the direction of the information development and editorial programmes
  • Advising on the content and presentation of UK NARIC principal databases and relevant information provision
  • Assisting in the validation of recommendations and statements accorded to international qualifications
  • Considering cases of appeal against UK NARIC decisions, both formally and on a case-by-case basis
  • Providing advice on the range and appropriateness of NARIC services

The Core Service Monitoring Group meets at least twice a year and it meets to consider the NARIC progress reports which include regular reporting on work programmes, performance indicators and statistical analyses.

The Core Service Monitoring Group reports to the UK NARIC Advisory Council which is responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the NARIC function, providing professional advice and guidance.
